I'm fortunate to be aware of a number of remarkably successful persons. I've described how they share some specific points of views and beliefs. They also share a number of behaviors: 1 . That they don't make back-up plans. Back-up ideas can help you rest easier at night. Back-up strategies can also create an easy out when times get tough. You'll operate a lot harder and a lot for a longer time if your primary plan basically has to function because there is not any other option. Total commitment--without a safety net--will spur one to work harder than you ever imagined possible. If perhaps somehow the worst actuall does occur (and the " worst" is never because bad whenever you think) trust that you will find ways to rebound. As long as you keep spending so much time and keep listening to advice from your blunders, you always is going to. 2 . They are doing the work... You will be good with a little effort. You can be really good with a little more efforts. But you can not be great--at anything--unless you put in an incredible amount of focused work.
Scratch the surface of any individual with unusual skills and you should find a person who has place thousands of hours of effort in to developing all those skills. There are no cutting corners. There are zero overnight success. Everyone has heard about the 15, 000 hours principle nevertheless no one comes after it... apart from remarkably effective people. Thus start working on the project now. Period is losing. 3.... and so they work far more. Forget the Sheryl Sandberg " I keep every day for 5: 30" stories. I think she really does. But she is not you. Every extremely successful business owner I know (personally) works more hours than the average person--a many more. They have long lists of things they would like to get done. And so they have to put in lots of period. Better yet, they would like to put in a lot of time. If you do not embrace a workload others would consider crazy then your goal does not mean that very much to you--or it's certainly not...
